Important Election Update

I have been outraged by the continued failure of the Maryland State Board of Elections to conduct a safe, fair, and trustworthy vote-by-mail election process. It is absolutely unacceptable. We have many issues facing our community right now; voter confusion and possible disenfranchisement should not be added to the list.

Many people have reached out to me asking why their ballots have not arrived. Our team has been working as much as we can to get accurate information out about the election. All Baltimore City residents should receive their ballot in the mail no later than Saturday, May 23rd. If you do not receive your ballot by then, please call the Baltimore City Board of Elections at 410-396-5550.

Please check out our Voting Resources Page which has been updated with the 6 in-person voting locations and 15 in-person drop-off locations. If you have any questions or concerns about voting in the June 2nd election, please do not hesitate to call me at 410-340-0870 or respond to this email. Nobody should have to choose between their health and their right to vote, and I am personally committed to helping as many people as possible exercise their right to vote.

Volunteers Needed

We are making calls to First District voters to make sure they are informed about this confusing voting process. We’re calling every day from 10am to 8pm. This is the final push.

Can you help us? Even if you have never volunteered for a campaign before, we need you! This is a great opportunity to make a difference from the comfort and safety of your own home. If you can volunteer an hour or two, please reply to this email or call/text 410-340-0870.

Baltimore Strong

We’ve released our final campaign ad! It’s called Baltimore Strong. Even a global pandemic cannot shake Baltimore’s resiliency and strength. As Councilwoman, I will harness that strength to build a City Council that works for everyone. I have the experience, commitment, and passion to do the job. Help us spread the word by liking, commenting, and sharing it on Facebook.

Upcoming Interview

Next Tuesday, I’ll be doing an interview with Baltimore Women United for Action PAC, an organization that has endorsed my candidacy. The interview will be streamed live on Facebook. I hope you’ll check it out to hear about my positions and plans to serve Baltimore. See more here.

Stay healthy and safe!
