Our Newest Campaign Ad

We’re so excited to release our newest campaign ad today! You can watch Focusing on the Fundamentals by clicking the video above. Please help us spread the word by liking, commenting, and sharing it on Facebook.

Be Ready To Vote

The election is less than 4 weeks away, and we expect ballots to arrive in mailboxes as early as Monday, May 11th. Here are 3 steps I’m asking you to take in preparation for the election:

1. Make sure you are able to vote. By clicking this link, you can confirm or update your mailing address with the Board of Elections so that you will receive your ballot in the mail. Even if you think your registration is up-to-date, please take 30 seconds to be sure.

2. Pledge to vote for me. COVID-19 has made it more difficult for our team to connect with voters and ask them about the upcoming election. If you live in the First District and you are planning to vote, please let me know by pledging to vote.

3. Spread the word. Help us to let folks know about voting in the upcoming election by sharing this information on Facebook:

This race is going to be close, and we need every single vote. If you live in the First District or own a business or property here, please request a railing or window sign.

You can find everything else you need to know about voting on our Voting Resources Page. If you have any questions, feel free to call our team at 410-340-0870.

Volunteers Needed

This Saturday, May 9th, we will be having a Virtual Day of Action to contact as many voters as possible before ballots start arriving in mailboxes early next week.

Can you help us? Even if you have never volunteered for a campaign before, we need you! We will have a special Zoom training at 11am and tell you everything you need to do. Then, volunteers will reach out to voters from the comfort and safety of your own homes.

You can sign up to volunteer here. Please let us know if you plan on helping and we will send you the Zoom invitation. For questions, reach out to Miguel at or call 410-340-0870.

You’ve Got Mail

Over the past few weeks, we’ve sent out 5 mail pieces to voters in the First District. Below you can see the mailer that arrived in mailboxes earlier today. Our next and final piece should arrive next week, just as ballots are dropping in mailboxes!

See a bigger image here, or wait to get it in the mail!

2020 Women’s Ballot

You can see our full list of endorsements on the mailer above. I’m honored to have earned each and every one of them. The wide assortment of organizations supporting me – from social workers to police to national advocacy groups – shows the strength and diversity of our movement.

My endorsement from Baltimore Women United means that I am included on the 2020 Women’s Ballot. I’m honored to be alongside a diverse group of strong candidates who are committed to Baltimore’s women and families. The Women’s Ballot – distributed by BWU volunteers – has been extremely effective in past elections in helping to elect progressive candidates in Baltimore City and County who support women’s issues. Here’s hoping that it works again this year!

Stay healthy and safe!
