Paris in the Community

With winter comes ice hockey season! The 2019-2020 season of the Patterson Park Stars Youth Hockey Program is underway and Paris is back on the ice for the third year to coach at-risk kids from around Baltimore City. Some exciting news – there are more girls participating in the program this year than ever before! Read more here.

Paris presented her plans to members of the Patterson Park Neighborhood Association at their monthly November meeting. Patterson Park residents are looking for a Councilperson who will take a more hands-on approach to public safety. They were very interested to hear Paris’ plans to reduce crime by addressing the opioid crisis and establishing an Office of Returning Citizens’ Affairs. Read the meeting minutes here.

While Paris is stepping up to represent neighborhoods across Southeast Baltimore, she remains committed to being a leader in her own neighborhood. She was recently re-elected to serve as Vice President of the Fells Prospect Community Association for a third year. Read more here.

Call for Volunteers

With the shorter daylight hours and colder temperatures, we now have less time to knock on doors. While we are still out knocking every weekend, we are spending some weeknights making phone calls to the thousands of voters in the First District. We need your help! Sign up here.

Campaign for House Parties

Hosting a house party is a fun way to support our campaign by connecting Paris with voters, donors, and volunteers. We are actively looking for folks to host parties to support our campaigns, whether or not you live in the First District. If you or any of your friends might be able to host a party, please reach out to Miguel at or simply reply to this email.

If hosting a party isn’t your thing, we hope you’ll make a contribution. Every dollar you donate is absolutely vital to helping win this race.

Upcoming Events

And of course, we are still knocking doors and making phone calls every single day. Help us keep up our momentum by coming out with us. Click here to volunteer any day you have available.

See you soon!
